This stage is a phone interview with someone from HR. Expect all questions to be motivational and strength based. Go prepared to talk about your experiences, have examples to justify your skills and do your research on the company.

 Example

  • Why LSEG? Why The graduate programme?
  • What motivates you?
  • When was a time you had to solve a problem as a team?

The final stage is an online assessment centre. There is 1 group exercise, 1 case study and a 1-1 interview. Each exercise lasts about 45 minutes with breaks in between. In the Case study be sure to show your reasoning, there is no right or wrong answer, it's about how you approach issues and whether you can think outside the box

Example

  • Tell me of a time when you have showed leadership skills?
  • How do you deal with obstacles?
  • Why the graduate programme? Why LSEG?

How to respond for success

Try to understand the divisions of the firm - LSEG is so diverse, so the more you know the better you will stand out. Be genuine and authentic with your answers. In terms of dress code, I wore smart casual.
